Description
The 2.5-inch CIM Motor is one of the most trusted and widely used brushed DC motors in robotics, known for its reliability, high power output, and durable construction. This motor has been a proven workhorse in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and various industrial and educational robotic systems.
Operating at 12V DC and delivering up to 337 watts of power, the CIM motor provides excellent torque and efficiency for drivetrain, arm, or mechanism applications.
The output shaft measures 0.313 in. (8 mm) in diameter and 1.25 in. long, with a 2 mm wide keyway, allowing easy installation of custom or off-the-shelf pinions.
Available configurations include:
-
Standard CIM (bare shaft)
-
CIM with pre-attached 16-tooth pinion (ready for CIM Sport planetary gearbox)
-
CIM with pre-attached 15-tooth pinion (ready for EVO gearbox)
These options make it simple to integrate the motor into a wide variety of AndyMark CIM-based gearboxes. Whether you’re building a drivetrain, manipulator, or other high-load system, this motor delivers consistent, dependable performance.
