Description

The Devantech RD02 - 12 Volt Robot Drive System is a complete dual-motor drive solution designed for mobile robot platforms weighing between 5 to 10 kg. It includes two high-quality EMG30 gear motors with integrated encoders, a robust MD25 motor controller board, and 100 mm rubber wheels pre-mounted on aluminum hubs — providing a smooth, stable, and responsive drive system for your robot.

The MD25 motor controller allows simple control through I²C or Serial interface, making integration easy with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other microcontrollers. The kit also includes mounting brackets, hardware, and an onboard 5V regulator capable of supplying up to 300 mA for your own circuitry.

Whether you're building a robot for education, research, or prototyping, the RD02 system provides exceptional precision, reliability, and ease of setup. Only a single 12V battery (6A peak current) is needed to power the entire system.
