The High Torque Gearmotor Self-Locking Worm Gear Motor with Encoder – 12V, 215RPM is a compact yet powerful DC motor designed for demanding applications requiring high torque, precise speed control, and resistance to back-driving.
This motor combines a 12V brushed DC motor with a robust worm-and-wheel gearbox, ensuring a reliable self-locking function that prevents the output shaft from being rotated when power is off. The gearbox is built with large-pitch gears, offering exceptional durability and the ability to handle higher torque loads compared to standard low-cost gearboxes.
Equipped with a magnetic hall sensor encoder (2 channels, 11PPR), the motor provides accurate feedback for position and speed control. The 8mm diameter D-shaped output shaft, supported by dual ball bearings, allows direct mounting of larger loads without compromising stability or performance.
