The Pololu 12V, 75:1 Metal Gear Motor HP w/ 48 CPR Protected Encoder is a high-performance brushed DC gearmotor that combines a 12V high-power motor, a durable all-metal 74.83:1 gearbox, and an integrated 48 CPR quadrature encoder for precise speed and position feedback. Designed for robotics, automation, and motion control applications, this motor delivers high torque, reliable performance, and compact size—making it ideal for driving robotic wheels, actuators, and other precision mechanisms.

The integrated magnetic encoder provides 3591.84 counts per revolution (CPR) of the gearbox’s output shaft, allowing for accurate closed-loop feedback in control systems. The metal gearbox ensures long-lasting durability and smooth operation even under high load. Its D-shaped 4 mm output shaft facilitates easy and secure attachment to gears, pulleys, or wheels.
