The Slamtec RPLIDAR A3 is a high-performance 360° laser scanner designed for precise indoor and outdoor mapping, navigation, and obstacle detection. Featuring a maximum ranging distance of 25 meters (white objects, enhanced mode) and a sampling rate of up to 16,000 times per second, it delivers exceptional accuracy and reliability for robotics, automation, and research applications.

Equipped with Slamtec’s optimized optical design and RPVision high-speed ranging engine, the RPLIDAR A3 captures more environmental data, enabling faster and more accurate map building than most competing LiDAR sensors. It operates in two selectable modes:

  • Enhanced Mode – Maximum range and sampling rate for optimal indoor performance.

  • Outdoor Mode – Improved daylight resistance for stable detection in both indoor and outdoor environments.

With 0.225° angular resolution, full 360° omnidirectional scanning, and compact 41 × 76 mm dimensions, the RPLIDAR A3 is ideal for service robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, and intelligent monitoring systems. The durable, precisely engineered internal mechanical system ensures stable operation, while the UART communication interface supports compatibility with former Slamtec SDK protocols.
