Description

The BLDC3525 Brushless DC Motor is a compact 36mm motor with an integrated Hall-effect driver, eliminating the need for a separate external BLDC driver for basic operation.

Available in 12V and 24V versions, the motor supports PWM/analog speed control, CW/CCW direction control, and FG speed feedback through its 5-wire interface. Its brushless construction provides long service life and reduced maintenance compared with conventional brushed DC motors.

The compact Ø36mm housing, ball-bearing support, and integrated control electronics make the BLDC3525 suitable for robotics, automated equipment, smart devices, electric doors and windows, rotating mechanisms, and compact motion-control applications.

Two shaft configurations are available: 3mm shaft with 9mm length and 3mm shaft with 12mm length.

  • Verify the wiring before applying power. Incorrect wiring may damage the integrated driver.
  • Select the correct 12V or 24V motor version for your power supply.
  • The M3 mounting holes have limited thread depth. Avoid using excessively long mounting screws that could damage the internal stator winding.
  • Speed and torque specifications vary between the 12V and 24V versions.

FAQ

Does this motor require an external BLDC driver?
No. The motor has an integrated Hall-effect driver for electronic commutation and basic motor control.

Can the motor rotate in both directions?
Yes. CW and CCW rotation can be selected through the white direction-control wire.

Can the motor speed be controlled?
Yes. The blue control wire provides a 0–5V speed-control input.

Does it provide speed feedback?
Yes. The yellow FG wire provides an open-collector speed feedback signal with 9 pulses per revolution.

What is the difference between the 12V and 24V versions?
The 24V version provides higher speed, rated torque, and rated power. The 12V version has a no-load speed of approximately 3000 RPM, while the 24V version reaches approximately 6000 RPM.

What shaft sizes are available?
The standard motor uses a 3mm round shaft with either a 9mm or 12mm shaft length.
