Description
The GF5560-180 6V DC Worm Gear Motor combines a compact permanent-magnet DC motor with a worm gear reduction gearbox for low-speed, high-torque applications.
The worm gear transmission provides self-locking characteristics, making the motor suitable for mechanisms that need to resist reverse driving when power is removed.
Six gear ratios are available from 26.9:1 to 1400:1, providing a wide selection of output speeds and torque levels for robotics, automation equipment, electric locks, rotating mechanisms and DIY projects.

FAQ
Is this motor self-locking?
The worm gear transmission provides self-locking characteristics and resistance to reverse driving.
Can the motor rotate in both directions?
Yes. The direction can be reversed by changing the DC power polarity.
Which gear ratio should I choose?
Choose a lower gear ratio for higher speed or a higher gear ratio for lower speed and greater output torque.
Does this version include a power supply or speed controller?
No. This listing includes the motor only.
What size is the output shaft?
The motor uses an 8 mm D-shaped output shaft approximately 21 mm long.
