Overview
The SSR-60WA-R(2KW) single-phase motor soft starter provides adjustable voltage ramp-up for 2KW motor loads. It is intended for applications such as ordinary fans, water pumps, belt conveyors, ball mills, compressors, and other compatible single-phase motor loads. The module is designed for straightforward wiring without a bypass contactor.
Key Features
- 2KW rated power
- Compatible with 220VAC, 230VAC, and 240VAC single-phase motor systems at 50Hz or 60Hz
- Supports 380VAC to 400VAC two-phase connection as specified
- Adjustable soft start time from 0 to 30 seconds
- Adjustable starting voltage from 0% to 50%, ramping to the rated voltage
- Suitable for ordinary fans, water pumps, belt conveyors, ball mills, compressors, and single-phase motors
- Two operating methods: automatic start when the main switch is closed, or start/stop control through the external switch

Selection and Installation Notes
For motor selection, the supplied sizing method is: actual working current basis = power / voltage x 5. Select a model with a parameter that is equal to or greater than the calculated result. When two or more motors operate in parallel, select a model based on total power multiplied by 1.2 or more.
For 2KW and higher power operation, provide a suitable heat sink and cooling fan for heat dissipation. The module must be connected to a load during operation or testing; testing without a load does not provide a valid result. Avoid setting the soft start time to 0 seconds, as the starting current may become excessive and damage the module.
Do not apply voltage to the control switch. Use the switch for start and stop control as intended, and do not disconnect the incoming line power during operation. A motor brake function may prevent smooth stopping where applicable. Do not use a multimeter on the load side to assess product quality. In high ambient temperatures or inadequate cooling conditions, consider a higher-capacity starter and suitable fast-disconnect protection or a fast fuse in series with the load circuit.
